A Map, a Map, My Kingdom for a Map

I promised a map of Christenlande, but frankly, I don't have one. I do however have maps of Críslicland and Affynshire. But what ho, what difference mayst there be? Christenlande is what I originally christened.. sorry... the kingdom ruled by Lawrnce and Josephine. When I wrote the novel I changed it to Anglo Saxon English, Críslicland, which means about the same thing. It was only when I started to write the novel that I made a few stabs at maps. I can tell you that the only real difference is that originally "Affyn-Shire" was way up in Northumbria or as far as Scotland. Laura had read a book about some Scottish ancestors of hers, I think. I decided with the book to move it down next to Críslicland. These maps are from the later incarnation, i.e. the novel.

In the map above I show you the location of Christenlande/Críslicland. The white castle is the original location of Lawrencium. I learned that this is one of the least hospitable places for a capital in England.. in the Fens and probably underwater back in the 8th century. So we moved lawrencium to Cleethorpes near Grimsby up the east coast from there. Fewer mosquitoes, you know.
My good friend and shieldwall engineer, Jack Graham, made this map of the war zone for the wars involving Affynshire and Críslicland. Somehow Críslicland got shrunken.. it should be much larger than Affynshire.. but that is more likely to be creative geogistory on my part than any mistake on Jack's.
Then we have a map of Affynshire that is quite recent. You will see all the same places noted on Jack's map.

It looks to me like some mapmaking is in order that mayhap should show the old and the new of it.
