Shannon and Heather

Continued from Shannon Meets Heather, Part 5: Consummation.

Years later Shannon's and Heather's marriage  was a shambles.  The following stories are already posted on this blog.    They were originally part of the stories that became the novel, but Heather was an unfortunate casuality of brutal editing.   These stries are mostly in the context of the Queen's departure for Affynshire after learning of her uncle's grave illness.  Once you have refreshed your memory, the story will continue.  The eventual plan is to write a sequel where the entire Shannon and Heather story takes place after the time frame of the novel.*

Lawrence Deals with Sir  Robert
This story contains the first reference to Shannon and Heather.

The Journey to ireland, Part I
Returning from Ireland
These two stories show Shannon leaving to retrieve his bastard son Seamus from Ireland, then returning, fully expecting Heather to accept the child.

Josephine Learns About Shannon's Past
Not l ong after Josephine finds Shannon in the room over the tavern where he sleeps when Heather locks him out of their cottage.

Shannon and Heather Start to Unravel
Complete with a little foreshadowing for Rory.
Shannon and Heather Come Apart Entirely, Part 1
Shannon and Heather Come Apart Entirely, Part 2

Unable tosustain any semblance of happiness, Shannon chooses to leave Lawrencium rather than live there without Heather and his son.

Next: Heather's Story

* Actually,  some of the stories just posted (January 2010) have been posted before... but to get you into the story we decided to post them again.
